Before I made a decision to stay home with my kids after our 4th baby was born, I was a project coordinator and then a start-up owner. Those were fast-paced jobs that demanded my attention to several projects at a time. I loved it! Now I manage “four projects”, each one in various stages of development. Their ages are 16, 11, 8 and 2. My job is just as fast-paced and most of the time extremely satisfying (though sometimes I feel like I want to pull my hair out!) In this season of my life, this is the best job I could think of.
My parenting priorities are to raise the kids to be self-reliant, always thinking and asking questions, and forming their own opinions. I want them to grow up with healthy habits (nutrition and fitness being a big part of it) so they could take good care of their bodies and their mind.
Simple, real-life organization and routines help me keep my sanity and keep things running smooth. Life with kids will always be busy, but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming and messy. I write about what helps me be an efficient parent, and I would love to hear your tips as well!
